Missions
As many of you are aware, PTM (Present Truth Ministries) is actively doing missions working in Turkey. Jason DeMars travels to Turkey frequently and there are three Iranian missionaries he is working with there. Four new churches have been established there and many led to Christ. God has been so gracious to provide for us in order to sponsor the ministries of these brothers who are living in Turkey. It’s the power of God, working with your prayers and support, that have enabled PTM to establish four new churches. Thank you for your support. It sounds trite and overused, but I say it because it is the truth: Every soul saved will be allotted to your account if you were the one that gave the money which allowed the missionaries to travel or buy the New Testaments.
New Testaments
New Testaments and the Jesus movie are the primary outreach tool that we use in the Middle East. It gives people the chance to read the words of Jesus and his apostles for themselves, to see the life of Jesus and how different He is from the religions of the world. The cost is $5 for one Jesus movie and one New Testament. We are hoping to place an order of 200 more by June 10th. Go here to give towards this. This is what one minister in the Middle East stated, “We never get discouraged when people swear at us. We get discouraged when people ask us for Bibles and we can’t give them one.”
Behnam Irani
We have received an update regarding Pastor Behnam. He has advanced hemorroids and as a result he is bleeding each and every day. We have learned he has a skin disorder that causes him pain if he even spends five minutes outside in the sunlight. He also has a disc out in his back and is walking with a limp. Despite all this — and being confined with murderers and violent drug dealers — he is full of joy. He faces these terrible circumstances with joy because God is with him, comforting him at every turn.

Thankyou for the update on Pastor Behnam. In spite of his health problems and suffering it is good to know that he is full of the joy of the Lord, praise God! I continue to pray for his healing, and, with his new problem, that, as in Ps.121, he will be able to say that the sun will not harm him by day. I also pray that his amazing witness and the power of the Holy Spirit will bring about the fruit of salvation in the hearts of his fellow prisoners. May God continue to fill him with the peace and joy that passes all understanding and strengthen him in spirit day by day.
