Information Withheld Regarding Youcef’s Trial

Our sources have attempted to gather information regarding the trial of Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, but were turned away and told not to return or inquire again before the trial. His lawyers, also, have been denied access by the court to his legal files. We are concerned about the implications of this, and ask that you pray for Youcef and his attorneys. Please keep in prayer the fact that, even though he is facing a new trail and new charges, he is still under the death sentance for apostasy. Neither the death sentance nor the charge of apostasy have been overturned.

Pastor Behnam Irani remains in prison in Karaj, Iran. His health is still poor and he is being denied the needed medial treatment. Please continue to pray for his healing, as well as the strength and courage to not only endure, but to shine for Christ. We pray that he will be a light and a witness to all who encounter him.

Families of Prisoners

The situation for both Pastors Nadarkhani and Irani is very difficult for their families. Both pastors have a wife and two children. Brother Youcef’s wife is Tina, and he has two sons, Daniel and Yoel. Brother Behnam’s wife is Christine, and he has a daughter, Rebecca, and a son, Adreil. As you can imagine, it is a trying time for both families, but their faith and confession remains strong and centered on God. Please continue to keep them in prayer, bearing their burdens and standing shoulder to shoulder with them
