Support Pastors and Churches
There is much mission work to do in Turkey among the refugees as well as in other countries in the Middle East. The unfortunate part is the conditions believers are in and the difficulty in finding a place to worship and the amount of work the pastor must do in addition to his daily, very physical, very grinding job. The pastors that are also doing outreach and missions work need to work a 12 to 14 hour a day job in very physical labor, with only Sunday off. In addition to this is the stress that they may or may not be paid for their work. Iranian believers are forced to work illegally in Turkey because employers don’t want to go to the expense and trouble of getting their workers permits to work. These great difficulties cause a great need for financial support for pastors. A portion of their support certainly comes from tithes and a portion of the church rent is paid by offerings, but more frequently than not, they are quite short on these expenses. This is why we’ve been supporting them, not 100%, but as we have been able. Lately, we have been less able to do so.
Even a small monthly donation goes a long way when many believers give. We appreciate your support. Funds go to support pastors, churches, missions trips and supplies needed for missions work.
