God wants to reveal himself to you. If you want to know the truth and know God ask Him to reveal himself. He can still speak to searching hearts. Start asking Him to reveal himself to you and wait patiently for Him to speak.
The Bible prophesied a thousand years in advance the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This was all done to restore God’s relationship to fallen mankind. Adam and Eve sinned in the beginning and all of us sin as well. This separates us from a perfect God. Jesus died for you and me so that we can get back into relationship with God. We can receive the Spirit of God into our hearts. The formula for salvation is simple, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ”….”Repent [ask for forgiveness and change your behavior] and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” The Holy Spirit is another title for the Spirit of God.
