Our sources have reported to us that Pastor Silas Rabbani was arrested by VEVAK around Noon Iranian time on May 5, 2014. Brother Silas’ home was raided in December 2013 while he was away. VEVAK took his laptop computer, Bibles and other Christian materials. In January he was brought in for an eight hour interrogation by VEVAK officers.
Please pray for Brother Silas, his wife Ester and their two children. Pastor Silas is an associate pastor in the church in Karaj, Iran where Behnam Irani is pastor. Now, Pastor Behnam and his two associates Amin Khaki and Silas Rabbani are in custody. Behnam is serving a 5 year setence and both Amin and Silas are being held in VEVAK offices.
Pray for this church in Karaj, Iran to prosper under the Headship of Jesus Christ even without their pastor and associates.
