Thankfulness

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

– 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Sometimes here in America we lack in the realm of thankfulness. If you think about how blessed we are and how much we have in our favor financially in America. Even our poor have so much more than the poor in third world countries.

We complain if we get bad service or the food isn’t enough or if we don’t get everything we wanted when there are people in other countries that may or may not eat today. Our children complain they don’t like the taste of certain foods when children may not eat for several days.

We should teach our children about these children and get them involved in helping them. We should be involved in feeding the poor and helping those who have less than we have. We should be so thankful for what God has provided us with and blessed us with and then use it to bring him glory and to help others.
