Restoration of the Church

We are living in what many historians and scholars consider the end-times. It is an important time that happens just before the coming of Christ. Therefore we need to watch and pray. Satan knows his time is short and is seeking to devour anyone that he can. Let’s examine our hearts and minds to find the will and purpose of God. If you sincerely seek Him then He will make Himself known to you.

In every generation God has sent men to rebuke and teach the church. Just as he did for Israel in the Old Testament he sent prophets to teach and rebuke them. He wants to keep his church clean and pure. Right after the death of the apostles the church slowly began to fall away from the apostolic teaching.

As a result God began to send men to teach and rebuke the church. This happens in every generation at every time. The men who are called and chosen by God have a unique divine purpose in every specific time period.

During the Reformation God sent men like Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wycliffe and John Knox amongst others. He sent John Wesley and George Whitefield. He sent Charles Seymour and Charles Price as well as William Branham and many others who were to accomplish a divine calling.

We can read in the Bible very clearly that the apostles baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it is clear the church fell away from this teaching. It is also clear that people received the Holy Spirit with an experience and one that changed their lives. The church fell from that as well. The church was clearly monotheistic in its beliefs and Jewish in nature, but the church fell away from that to a more robust polytheism. The church also fell away from salvation being by faith alone. The people began to teach that they had to follow certain laws in order to get saved first. It also developed bishops and layers of archbishops and cardinals that is totally contrary to the word of God leaving the church in ruins.

Thank God he had a purpose to restore his church to the original teaching of the apostles. We all can be benefactors of that reality if we accept it. Would you like to learn more about this restoration? Would you like to be a part of it?
