Update On Youcef Nadarkhani

We have received word that the Iranian judiciary is again delaying the verdict from the apostasy trial of Youcef Nadarkhani. They are doing this in order to continue the uncertainty for him and to apply additional pressure to get him to return to Islam. Secondly, they want the international community and especially Christians to forget about him. They have done this by seeking to divide Christians as well as delay the verdict. Once we forget about him then they are free to execute him. Please help us ensure that Youcef is not forgotten.

The Iranian judiciary, once again, shows no respect for their own laws. They are obliged to provide a written verdict within 10 days of the completion of the trial. It has now been two and a half months.

Please, do not forget Youcef in your prayers. Remember his family in prayer as well, Tina and their two sons, Daniel and Yoel have now been without him for over two years. Send word of this on to your Congressmen, MP’s and various government officials that you are in contact with. Also, I ask that everyone send an email on to the Iranian Embassy or Representative in your country. You can do so by going here. Respectfully request that they pass word on to the Iran’s Foreign Minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, that the judiciary provide a written verdict on the case of Youcef Nadarkhani.
