Day Two of the Re-Examination of Youcef Nadarkhani

Today, September 26th, in Iran is day two of the trial of Pastor Youcef. It will begin at 11:30 PM Central Time, 9:00 AM in Gilan Province, Iran. They intend to come to a decision in the case today.

Yesterday we reported that the judges in Gilan demanded that Youcef recant his faith at the beginning of the trial. This is the behavior of terrorists not impartial judges bound by Iranian law. Four witnesses were called and all testified that Youcef did not practice Islam at all from ages 14 to 19 before he accepted Christianity.

Youcef’s morale is high and he is steadfastly taking his stand in the faith of Jesus Christ. Continue to lift him up before God. Pray that these judges will have a change in their hearts and minds. We believe with the scriptures that these judges hearts are in the hand of God and he will direct them as he wills. “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.” Proverbs 21:1
