Christian Arrested For Blasphemy In Pakistan

The Times of India is reporting that a Christian vendor has been arrested for blasphemy.  It was reported that Ghulan Hussain had been ripping pages out of the Quran and burning them.

After this accusation was made, by a drunken Muslim man, an angry mob gathered outside of Ghulan’s home, but the police intervened and arrested Ghulan, not the angry mob, and have now imprisoned him.  They are stating that they believe that Ghulan is mentally deranged. However, this is what the Pakistani officials often say about Christians who are accused of blasphemy against Islam.
