Behnam Irani Is Being Mistreated In Prison

We have been informed that pastor Behnam Irani, who is being held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, Iran is being tortured and is in poor health. He has just under five years left in his prison sentence. He is being mistreated and is in poor health. In the first few months he was in prison he was held in solitary confinement in a very small cell. After that he was moved to a small cell with other prisoners. The room was so full that it became very hot and they could not lie down to go to sleep. The only thing they could do was sit all day and night. Now he is in a normal cell, but prison authorities have asked criminals to beat him regularly. All his hair has turned white and his foot is injured in such a way that they fear he may lose the use of his foot.

Please pray that God makes a way for brother Behnam to have better conditions in prison. Ask the Lord to touch the hearts of prison officials so that they would come to know the Lord Jesus.
