One Begins Serving Sentence While Another Called Into Revolutionary Tribunal

Mehdi “Petros” Foroutan, one of the five convicted in Shiraz, convicted of crimes against national security, reported to prison to begin serving his one year sentence. He is now in Abel Abad Prison in Shiraz City of Fars State, Iran.

Several others have been called in for questioning by the governing authorities and Alireza Seyyedian of Tehran was called in to the revolutionary court in Tehran and he received notice of an upcoming trial date of October 9th for crimes against national security (having house meetings) and misleading the youth.
