Amin Pishkar, a 31 year-old, unmarried, Bible teacher from Rasht, Iran, has been sentenced to one year in prison by the First Court of the Revolutionary Tribunal. He was arrested April 2010 on the charge of evangelism and released on bail in June. He has not yet begun to serve his sentence. He works on the bi-weekly magazine that the church in Rasht produces.
