The Holy Spirit is moving in Iran, bringing thousands of Muslims to faith in Christ. Since it is illegal to print or even own a Bible in Iran, there is a great need for Bibles.
Hear what a believer doing evangelistic work said:”We never get discouraged when people swear at us. We get discouraged when people ask us for Bibles and we can’t give them one.”
Another great outreach tool is the Jesus Film DVD in Farsi. Based on the book of Luke, Muslims can take it to watch in their own home. The Holy Spirit can then make the Word of God alive to them. It has proven to be a very effective method of witnessing, as one Iranian Pastor told us:
“I have experience of working with muslims. Most of them won’t read the Bible, but they are ready to watch a movie about a prophet who is in the Quran. When they watch the movie about Jesus, they are ready to read a booklet. After reading the booklet they are ready for the real food, the Gospel itself. That’s what I have done with Muslims in Iran and it has worked.”
