Wednesday Oct 11 Israel Update

This is an update that I received today from my friend, the pastor, who is preaching the message inside of Israel.

Short Update:

• All across the country people are panic buying and store shelves are empty due to the announcement to stock up
• It was found that roughly 2000 hamas terrorists entered Israel and therr are still a large number loose
• Over 1200 have been murdered by Hamas
• Gaza has been cut off from everything even water. Egypt tried to send supplies in and were deterred by Israel.
• Today while rockets were being fired from Gaza by Hamas, at the same time we began receiving rockets from Hezbollah in Lebanon and now rockets are coming in from Syria. In addition to hunting terrorist in the West Bank. We are fighting on all sides.
• 400k Reservisits ready to go to full scale war.
• Israel is using military planes to collect citizens from around the World to come and serve in IDF.
• On the positive side , all the national disunity over the last couple years that emboldended these attacks is being erased. The support and love Israelis are giving each other is incredible.
• Some of the family member soldiers of believers are hospitalized.
• We have believers that are technicians on the iron dome and they are on stand by.
• Some believers are volunteering to cook for soldiers and some of us have bought much needed supplies for the reservists.
• The believers at the moment are prayerfully waiting and watching.

Later in the day he sent me this.

This is areas where a shelter in place were issued. My friend reported that “drones or gliders from the north…fighter jets everywhere getting very serious now.” After doing additional research we found out the the drones likely belonged to Israel and the gliders were coming from the north, but so far the infiltration has been blocked by the IDF.
