Missions Update

Present Truth Ministries is continuing to do missionary work among Iranian refugees in Turkey. A continued influx of Christians and those seeking political freedom are coming into Turkey. Our purpose is to reach out to those who are still Muslims and to share the word of God and teach those denominational Christians who are hungry to learn the Word.

We have planted six churches and are doing ministry in three other cities with one or two families in those cities. One of our missionaries on a recent trip baptized five believers in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in one city in Turkey. One of these new converts was a man who was an Islamic theologian, well versed in the Quran. He sat and listened as the brother spoke about the plan of salvation and as a result repented, came to Christ and was baptized. In another city he had a question and answer session with believers and as they sat and discussed the Scriptures one Muslim man made the decision to repent and give his life to Jesus Christ.

These are just a few of the things taking place in the Middle East. I want to share a need with you. We have planted a new church in one city in Turkey (we will not name it publicly). It was being hosted in a believers home, but it is growing to the point that it won’t fit any more. We need to rent a new apartment that can accommodate a church. The costs for household items, chairs, rent and deposits for utilities will be $1200 and the monthly costs will be $450.
