“I Met With God In The Book of Hebrews” – Former Muslim

I’m always in awe of our great God who sovereignly calls His children to Himself. We witness the power of God to change a life and know that this grace is available to all that call upon His name. God is bringing many Muslims in Iran to faith in Him as believers faithfully witness by sharing a New Testament, a Jesus Film or a tract and quietly live a life that is different than everyone around them. Here is the testimony of an Iranian who is a former Muslim.“I am a former Muslim who is a direct descendant of Mohammed. I went on a holiday trip with a neighbor. During the trip he gave me a New Testament. I began to read it and I met with God in the epistle to the Hebrews. However, at the time I didn’t fully accept it because I was never really dissatisfied with Islam until I learned about Jesus.

A short time later I had a vision while I was awake. I saw Jesus appear before me in a bright shining light and a voice spoke saying “I am the way, the truth and the life.” It was an awesome experience and I knew it was real, but it was difficult for me to leave Islam.

Again a short time after that I had a dream while I was asleep in my bed. A voice spoke out and said, “The whole world will be Judged by Jesus Christ.” I realized then that I must accept Him immediatley, So I got up in the middle of the night and went to my neighbors’ house who gave me the bible, repented and asked Jesus Christ to forgive my sins. I then experienced a peace in my heart that I never had in Islam.”

There are countless other testimonies just like this. What grace our Lord Jesus provides to call His people like this and to transform their lives.
