1st Quarter Missions Trip

We had a great missions trip to Turkey in January. It was a trip spent counselling, teaching and working with pastors and believers. We spent a lot of time with pastors and believers clarifying what the message of the hour really is and the Scriptures that are fulfilled in this day. There have been so many misconceptions brought to them and even things plainly hidden from them about the teachings of brother William Branham. Many of them had no idea there were 45 of his sermons translated into Farsi. They were only aware of a 5 of them. They did not even know there were six audio translations that had been done in the last 2 months. It was wonderful to be able to let them know and even to see the pastors we are working with starting to be able to teach others about the message. There is a lot more work to do as they are new to hearing the whole message preached.

We saw new ministerial relationships formed, doctrines clarified and we even saw marriages restored. During our trip, a brother who has been a Christian for a little over a year, got a call from the police regarding his former life. He was living under an alias and dealing drugs. But God touched his heart and he is a new man. The police called and told him to report to them as an arrest warrant had been issued. When he arrived he showed them his identification under his real name. They said this isn’t the person we are looking for. He told them that he was and had to argue with them a bit to convince them. He could have simply lied and walked out unscathed, but he told them the truth about the story and they brought him in for interrogation. Then they brought him before the court. The judge said that they would drop the charges since he was honest with them and was living a new life. They just needed to get Istanbul (where the crime was committed) to sign off on the judges decision. We prayed together for him and he did the right thing and God blessed him for it.

There was a group of people that came out from a denomination to our church in Eskisehir. They were amazed and rejoicing to hear the Bible being taught clearly and openly to all believers, to have their questions answered clearly from the Bible without any fear or frustration from the pastor. Praise the Lord! Keep praying for us!
