Are Gentiles really subject to a different set of promises in this age and Jews another set of promises?

Are Gentiles really excluded from certain promises in this age while Jews get something else? For those in Christ there is NO difference!

This is written to deal in part with the idea that the book of Malachi was written to the Jews and not for the Gentiles.  Please consider the following: Galatians 3:16-29:

16     †     Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.  And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.  For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise(…).For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.  For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Any promise of the Old Testament, or New Testament that was given to the seed of Abraham is for the Christians today. We can nit pick about such things as Israel returning to the homeland or being delivered up out of Egypt, or the legal requirements of the law.  But even these things are types and shadows (Colossians 2:16-17) that were fulfilled in Christ Jesus, and now the Gentiles have been made beneficiaries of that plan!

In fact, this fundamental doctrine is THE basis: of Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles, of the last 2000 yrs of Church History, and now to the restoration of the original faith that Paul preached.  When we start hearing the uncertain sound that “this promise of the Messiah, Jesus was written to the Jews and has therefore nothing to do with the Gentile…”  Don’t let someone beguile you of your faith so easily!  The Jew and Gentile are one in Christ Jesus.. Back to the Bible brothers and sisters!
