Top Canadian Diplomat Speaks Out

Please continue to pray for Youcef Nadarkhani, condemned to death in Rasht, Iran for the crime of apostasy. The case has been appealed and he now waits for the Supreme

Court to review it, then certify or overturn it.
In recent news Canada’s top diplomat Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon stated that Youcef’s case is, “a grave concern to Canada, as this is a sign that the Iranian people do not enjoy freedom of religion.” Ottawa condemns this sentencing against this Christian pastor.
Behrouz Sadegh-Khandjani remains in prison in Shiraz, Iran for the crime of apostasy (though he was never a Muslim) and actions against national security (holding house church meetings). He continues to wait for a trial date.
Continue to ask your congressman, MP’s and foreign ministers to take action and speak out against Iran’s treatment of these two pastors.
Remember, there are more pastors who are to stand trial soon. There is Abdolreza Haghnejad from Anzali, Behnam Irani from Karaj and Mehdi Furutan from Shiraz. It is critical we pray for them and make our voices known against this evil.
