During Ramadan Eating In Public Is A Crime In Iran

According to Mohabat News Iran’s security services have made eating in public during the day time hours in the month of Ramadan a crime. The  security service forces state, “Eating (in) public is forbidden according to Sharia law and is an example of an obvious crime and is prosecutable. It is obvious that excuses like illnesses and trips do not justify eating in public.”
