Christian Solidarity Worldwide and our sources are confirming that Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who was previously held in prison for three years and was under the death sentence for his faith in Rasht, Iran, was arrested along with his wife, sister Tina and three other believers on May 13, 2016. The pastor and his wife were released shortly thereafter. He was re-arrested previously in Rasht on Christmas Day in 2012 and released several days later in January 2013. This time his house was raided while Bibles and other Christian materials were confiscated.
The three other believers that are being held in prison are Yasser Mossayebzadeh, Saheb Fadaie and Mohammadreza Omidi. Mohammadreza Omidi was previously convicted for his Christian faith and sentenced to 80 lashes. Please remember each of them in your prayers as they are still being held in prison for their faith.
