Next Few Days Critical – Youcef Update

The next few days are very critical days in the case of Brother Youcef Nadarkhani, who is currently in solitary confinement. According to our sources, unfortunately, the Rasht politicians have been very un-cooperative with Youcef’s attorney.

A written verdict is necessary to appeal to the supreme court of Iran and as of yet they have not provided the written verdict, it has only been given verbally to Youcef and his attorney. No written notice has been given. The attorney was informed this week that Youcef may be executed anytime without even having the opportunity to appeal.

This is a very strange situation and many that are involved are puzzled at how it is proceeding.

Remember him in your prayers and ask that God would give him strength to overcome and endure through this process so that he would honor and glorify Jesus Christ through it.

  • Just want to share a short testimony:

    In my very sadest times of life, that continued a long period, I was badly wanting Him to lead me out of. In my mind I was’nt really here on earth, just looking towards Him. Finally I felt a hand, that layed on my shoulder, very tender. The atmosphere around me, that I felt, didn’t want me to stay a second longer on this earth. I was afraid even to breath, ’cause I didn’t wanted to loose this anymore. Finally i tried, real careful, to turn my head to see, who’s putting his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t see. After a while it left, but I always and ever remember this atmosphere, that I’m longing to share forever.

    So I don’t believe they tremble at all, I believe He’ll grant ’em this sweet atmosphere. He didn’t left me, doesn’t matter how bad I’d been, but they are serving The King of Kings.

    Dear Sir. We are thankful that your law in Iran allows freedom of religion. However, we heard that a man named Behrouz Sadegh-Khandjani was put in prison in Shiraz, Iran, at “Plate 100”, in June 18, 2010. He is now facing a death penalty. We are concerned about this and about his welfare. We are praying for this man, and also for your country and humbly ask, that he be released immediately as he is not a criminal, but simply one, who is exercising his right of freedom to worship God. Please give your attention to this matter. Thank you very much.

    Dear Sir: In October 12, 2009 Youcef Nadarkhani was arrested for converting to Christianity into prison in Rasht, Iran, and is now facing a death penalty. The story of this case has been circulated around the world and thousands of Christians know about it. We are praying for this man, and for your country and humbly ask, that he be released immediately as he is not a criminal but simply one, who is exercising his right of freedom to worship God.

  • Dear Brother Youcef,
    Grace to you and peace from our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
    I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus.
    That you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and knowledge, Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus christ our Lord.

    I dedicate to you this song:

    Must Jesus bear the cross alone?
    And all the world go free,
    No, there’s a cross for every one!
    And there’s a cross for me.

    The consecrated cross I’ll bear
    Till death shall set me free;
    And the go home my crown to wear,
    For there’s a crown for me.

    Upon the crystal pavement, I’ll bear,
    Down at Jesus’ pierced feet;
    With joy I’ll cast my golden crown,
    And His dear name repeat.

    Oh, precious cross, oh glorious crown;
    Oh, resurrection day,
    Ye angels from the stars come down,
    And bear my soul away.

    May He who started the good work in you accomplish.
    Be blessed.
