Pastors and missionaries that work in the Middle East are continuing to do what they are called to do regardless of their difficult circumstances. They are under a great deal of pressure on many fronts. They deal with the reality of having their activities monitored by the government, being in difficulties financially with churches lacking the ability (because of persecution) to support them and the constant need for believers to be encouraged and built up in their faith when it is sometimes impossible to meet together in groups. The greatest thing about these ministers of the Gospel is that they are full of faith and joy in the midst of these great difficulties.
Please, I ask you to sincerely pray for these pastors who work so diligently for the Lord and to serve his people. Pray for their safety and protection, that God would preserve them and give them wisdom in every choice and situation. Ultimately we know that the Lord will shepherd his people and he is in control of everything that is taking place. He will not lose one of his sheep and we trust in His tender loving care.
