Testimony From Laodicea

The pastor in Denizli (the city that replaced ancient Laodicea down in the valley), brother Shahin, told me this testimony recently. They had been reading My Life Story by brother Branham in the mid-week service over the last few weeks. Two new believers in the church were still smoking.

Brother Shahin was reading this quote, “Now, this Spirit of God that’s with me, if That is the Spirit of God (as you might question), you smoking cigarettes has got a slim chance when you get there, ’cause that just… every time. You notice it on the platform, how He condemns it. It’s a horrible thing. Keep away from it.”

After he was finished reading he said, brothers, do you want to be delivered and quit smoking? They said, “do you think it’s possible?” Shahin told them, absolutely it is. They prayed together and they gave him their cigarettes to throw away and they have not smoked again since. They testified during a church service what God had down for them.
