We have received news from Iran that on Sunday, June 10th, Petros Fourotan was released from prison. We give thanks to the Lord for preserving his life and health! In total he served about one year in prison for crimes against national security because of his Christian faith.
Youcef Nadarkhani remains in Lakan Prison in Rasht, Iran. He is still awaiting an official response from the local court regarding his trial in September 2011. As he waits, he remains strong in faith and positive in his attitude. Pray that the Lord opens the door quickly for him to be back with his family.
Behnam Irani is still in Ghezal Hezar prison. Even though he is in poor health his faith remains strong. He is suffering from bloody stool and has some problems with his eyesight. The prison officials are still not allowing him to visit a doctor. Pray for his healing, and for God to make a way for his release.
