Youcef Nadarkhani remains in good spirits in Lakan Prison in Rasht, Iran. In his letter from last week, Youcef said, “I have surrendered myself to God’s will…[and I] consider it as the day of exam and trial of my faith…[so that I may] prove my loyalty and sincerity to God.” At the end of his letter he requests, “…all the beloved ones to pray for me.” You can read the letter in it’s entirety here. He is still in prison and awaiting the verdict for his retrial for apostasy from September 2011.
